SUMMARY: I first heard about LIGHTS when she was fea­tured in a charity single by a bunch of Cana­dian artists called “Young Artist’s For Haiti”, doing an amazing ensemble cover ver­sion of “Wavin’ Flag” by K’naan (watch the video here: http://​www​.you​tube​.com/​w​a​t​c​h​?​v​=​n​B​7​L​1​B​I​D​ELc). She appears at the 1:23 mark. My boy­friend was the first to notice, and after doing some quick research, we found out who she was. I bought her album the next day at the HMV and have been listening to it non-​stop for the last couple of months. Her music is rife with infec­tious pop hooks, a little auto­tune (which is usu­ally bad, but her voice is very cute!), and a lot of elec­tronics. And she deserves her own artist pro­file on here to help spread the word! Go out and sup­port her!
