giant fighting robots with rockets and laser swords. extremely clue­less but lov­able hero who can beat the shit out of anyone. bad-​tempered and prone-​to-​violence heroine. unne­ces­sary panty shots. crowning moments of awe­some. love tri­angles. unfor­tu­nately, there is no way to describe how awe­some this show is without watching it. with all of it’s action, char­ac­ters, and amazing hil­arity, this is one of the greatest ever made. and when it comes to the giant fighting robot (aka mecha) genre, this one is simply the best.

The prin­cipal cast includes:

• Sosuke Sagara, the Raised By Wolves life­time sol­dier attempting to fit into normal society so he can pro­tect Kaname. Also referred to by the Big Bad as Kashim.
• Kaname, a Tsun­dere whose status as one of the mys­ter­ious Whispered is the driving force of the ori­ginal plot.
• Tessa, young cap­tain of Mithril’s aquatic base of oper­a­tions, the Tuatha De Danaan, and the other corner of the Love Tri­angle with Kaname and Sosuke.
• Melissa Mao, Sosuke’s Bottle Fairy com­mander, and the Cool Big Sis of the team.
• Kurz Weber, Hand­some Lech and crack shot with a sniper rifle.
• Andrei Karlinin, tac­tical officer for the TDD and the closest thing Sosuke has to a father figure.
