due to the overwhelming influence of vexed.ca across all the internets of the world, we would like to take a moment right now to voice our ultimate support for the ultimate talk show host of ultimate time.

when the war started, we thought little of it, only a small skirmish that the red-haired firebrand could destroy singlehanded, but oh, the foe was relentless and would just not die.

as such, this war raged into a flaming apocalypse, and we can no longer stay silent. at this moment in time, we are officially throwing all support behind the champion of the good, conan o’brien, often mistaken for the current president of finland, tarja halonen. it is a sad dark day when, in a world that is usually so peaceful, that we are ripped apart, forced to take sides in an epic battle of good vs evil. however, when the evil chin marches on, we cannot sit back and do nothing.

this writer remembers conan fondly, as he was a pivotal influence at a very important time. over bowls of ramen, usually adorned in nothing more than mustard-stained boxers, this writer would be lying on the couch, depressed and drowning, covered head to toe in political economy textbooks, it was only conan who cared. conan would look at this writer, penetrating him with his beady irish eyes and say “hey now! look at me dance!” oh and how he danced, as if pulled by invisible strings by a puppeteer god.

this dancing ended up saving an entire generation.

and now this generation, all grown-up and professional-like, free of the scourge of higher education, has raised their banners, in support of the man who carried the torch that brightened the darkened rooms across the dorms all over north america (and beyond) for so many years. it brings tears to my eyes to see a world so united, a unity not seen since george w bush finally brought peace to iraq by landing on an aircraft carrier off the coast of san diego.

we can only hope that our war with the evil chin go as well as bush’s.

mission accomplished indeed.
